Tori Lamp of Tennessee was named SEC Women’s Diver of the Year for the second year in a row on Thursday. The Bearden High School graduate won the platform and finished third in the 3-meter springboard at the SEC championships last week.
Dave Parrington of UT was named Women’s Diving Coach of the Year, the 11th time he has earned the award for men or women.
SEC champions automatically earned first team All-SEC honors.
Six Lady Vols — three individual champions and the members of the winning 200-yard medley relay team — were named All-SEC: Lauren Solernou (200 MR), Molly Hannis (200 MR), Kelsey Floyd (200 MR), Faith Johnson (50 freestyle, 200 MR), Lindsay Gendron (200 free) and Lamp (platform).
Jodie McGroarty (3-meter) and Caroline Simmons (200 FR) were named second-team All-SEC. Sam Lera (platform) and Johnson (50 free) were both named to the SEC All-Freshman Team.
The Vols had seven named second-team All-SEC: Samuel Rairden (100 free, 100 backstroke, 100 butterfly), Renato Prono (200 MR), Oystein Hetland (200 MR), Ed Walsh (200 MR), Gustav Aberg Lejdstrom (800 FR), Tristan Slater (800 FR) and Sean Lehane (200 back).
