Former Tennessee offensive lineman Dallas Thomas will miss the Senior Bowl after suffering an undisclosed injury.
Thomas did not practice Tuesday or Wednesday and a Senior Bowl spokesperson told the Tennessean that Thomas would sit out Saturday's game in Mobile, Ala.
Thomas was recently projected as a second- or third-round NFL draft pick by ESPN expert Mel Kiper Jr. The Baton Rouge, La., native started the final 37 games of his college career. He played left guard last year after spending the previous two seasons at left tackle.
Tight end Mychal Rivera also is representing Tennessee in Mobile. The Senior Bowl is considered the nation's top college showcase game and the event is heavily scouted by NFL teams.
Five other Vols participated in post-college all-star games.
Ben Bartholomew, Zach Rogers and Prentiss Waggner were in the Raycom All-Star Classic over the weekend, while Herman Lathers and Marsalis Teague participated in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.
