KNOXVILLE — The Tennessee Volunteers' revenge week isn't over. Now they're trying to salvage it.
As in Cuonzo Martin's first season as coach last year, Tennessee is 1-4 in SEC basketball play, and today's game against visiting Alabama looms large as the Vols try to overcome the poor league start again.
"It's another game we need," senior forward Kenny Hall said after Tennessee's 62-56 loss at 23rd-ranked Ole Miss on Thursday night. "They're coming in our home, and we need to protect our floor and get this win."

Shouldn't this story have been posted about 5 hours ago? It is nice when they let Stokes play. He does make a difference. We still need to accept easy baskets when we have the chance. Best move of the day was to not start McBee. I love the guy but with his injury he really is no help tho this team. Also coach martin corrected the mistake of sitting Stokes (like he did at UA) at the end simply because he doesn't shot good FT. Without him in at the end we lose.

The BB schedule on this site shows the game starting at 4 on ESPN. At least I got to see the last minute and the ref hand us a gift. Thanks KNS. More reason to go somewhere else for trustworthy news.

BTW, do you suppose the refs let Stokes play "big"?

I'll stay OFF TOPIC also by saying did you know of the baseball roster we only have 7,count them, seniors and juniors combined. That is a young roster that is hopefully being built for a nice run at tournament ball in the near future. OH btw Tennessee beat Alabamma today!! Wonder when the paper that wrote this will tell the outcome....
