NASHVILLE — 247Sports is proud to announce today the launch of All-Access VIP (AAVIP), a member loyalty program that allows users access to all 247Sports network content, including articles and VIP message board posts.
“We are always looking for ways to expand our product and services and give users more value with their subscription,” said Shannon Terry, CEO and Founder of 247Sports. “We thrive on innovation and user interaction, and All-Access VIP is the next obvious product enhancement.”
AAVIP allows both monthly and annual subscribers to read all content in the network including articles and VIP message board posts from any team site. Monthly subscribers qualify for AAVIP after their third month of subscription service (billings do not have to be successive), and Annual subscribers qualify immediately following the free trial period. AAVIP members also receive a special AAVIP message board badge and automatic enrollment into the text alerts service.
(govols247 is one of team sites on the 247Sports network. Govols247 was created in a partnership between 247Sports and the Knoxville News Sentinel.)
“All-Access VIP has been the most requested feature from users since we launched 247Sports in August 2010,” said Terry. “Our network of national reporters and team insiders work together on a daily basis to provide users with the latest scoop and best user experience. Now subscribers have so much more information and scoop available to them. This is a huge win for the sports fan.”
With All-Access VIP, subscribers will be able to read not only news and analysis from their team site experts, but get insight from all experts across the 247Sports network. AAVIP does not give subscribers the ability to post on all message boards. AAVIP subscribers can only post on their designated team site message board unless a message board is already set up to allow posts from any registered users.
“All-Access VIP opens the door for countless other new products that will shape the foundation of the team site and recruiting industry for the next decade,” said Noah Stanley, COO and product lead for 247Sports. “This releases allows for enhancements in message boards, the release of community threads, content feeds, mobile feeds and more interactive products and services for our users.”
AAVIP is not available during a user’s free trial period. If users wish to obtain AAVIP during free trial, or before they reach three months of service, there is an activation option for instant access. Any unused free time will then be added to the end of the user’s current subscription.
