Weather forces Vols to cancel home game with Belmont

A Tuesday forecast calling for a 100 percent chance of showers has forced Tennessee to cancel its home baseball game with Belmont. No make-up date has been announced.

The Vols will return to the diamond on Friday, when UT begins a 3-game homestand with Alcorn State.

First pitch in Friday's game at Lindsey Nelson Stadium is set for 6 p.m.
