Butch Jones has used a weather metaphor to describe the turbulent last few years of Tennessee football.
"It's like a storm," he said not longer after being hired, "and the storm has passed."
The metaphor worked well this week, which began with ice and snow which gave way to sunny skies and mild temperatures at Saturday's morning.

You may want to aim at 5-5.
No qb no wr's. you have to put more point up on the board then the other team unless you keep scores on should have wins is that what u keep score on. I doubt you could get 7-5 using that method. I bet you think in 2014 we will be in the championship game in Atlanta. He is a coach he doesn't walk on water.

Enthusiasm is never stupid, it's people like you that are eternally pessimistic that are inane. Who cares if someone predicts an 8 win season, that means nothing in the grand scheme of things. I have no idea how well they'll play, but I do know with any defense at all UT wins at least 8 games last season and that's not counting a bowl game they would have qualified for.
