That's ok, we are 4-5 here in Knoxville and perfectly content with it. Mediocrity! Wait till next year! The rally cry of the Vols.

Malzahn is definitely the "Coach of the Year" in the SEC....no one has come close to the job he has done in his first year. When Ellis Johnson has another year or two to add some quality D-lineman, they will compete with anyone.

Adams wrote a quality piece. There were no inaccuracies and no cutting remarks against CBJ. If you read this on ESPN.com you would never consider it biased writing. I get it that you're frustrated and a bit disappointed. We all are. But there's no reason to attack Adams for this one. Besides, there's light at the end of the tunnel.

The two biggest differences between our two programs is the quality of players on campus, and perhaps the quality of some of the assistant coaches. We know the first will soon improve for UT. In time, the latter may need to as well to keep the program moving forward.

Yes he has turned the Auburn program around very quickly. But does he have the long term foundation under it that Butch Jones is building. I will take a long term solid foundation any day over a short term quick fix.
