You and the Vols have come a long way. Thanks for all you've done and will continue to do as a VFL. I hope Tiny takes a page from your playbook. There's still a long way to go but you've made your mark and were a bright spot in the process. Thanks for that.

My thoughts exactly. Ja'Waun will be greatly missed.

Congratulations on your accomplishments. I sincerely hope that you and the rest of the seniors can finish on a 3 game winning streak. Go VOLS!!!

I watched the UT Martin game, but I don't remember anything about it, much less how James played -- although I'm sure the announcers mentioned him starting for the first time.

What an excellent Vol James has been and what a good player to get this record. Obviously, some of this longevity comes from genes -- he had to be this big and this athletic to be recruited and have the chance to play -- and some of it is luck, not to be injured.

But the rest of it is a player who got an opportunity and worked hard and long to take advantage of it as much as he possibly could. It's a great example for all the other Vols and will, I firmly believe, contribute much to a legacy of winning teams and a return to the top of the SEC and the national championship conversation. GBO!
