News Sentinel columnist John Adams says Tennessee might have the least enviable quarterback situation in the league -- except for perhaps Kentucky.

"But I'd take (Kentucky quarterback) Maxwell Smith if we were healthy," Adams said.

Adams talked about the SEC on Tuesday during an appearance on the News Sentinel Sports Page.

Positive comments by CBJ and positive new uniforms will not produce positive victories in the SEC beginning this Sat. against UG. With all due respect to CBJ and his staff, I refuse to be upset or negative after 5 games into the season. My major concern for the Vols is their blatant misunderstanding of the goals for the 2013 season. Same for me, too. Seriously wish we were all on the same page. Are we playing for this season, or are we all being gracious and giving JW one year of real SEC practice games to be ready for 2014? What's your game plan, Coach? Inquiring minds want to know, especially your O and D lines, all the remainder of the team, your 2014 recruits, and the entire Vol nation.
