Calm down hillbilly. Spurrier is from Tenn. that part is correct. But he also enjoys nothing more than putting it to the Rocky Flops. The Ga game is over ,Tenn lost and they will continue to lose so lets get on to womens basketball. After all thats what Tenn is good at.

Before you get too fired up, remember that Tennessee went into Athens last year and scored 44 in another shootout that didn't make any difference in the long run. UT and UGA seem to play close every year now.

Well, hey there, flatland furriner! You have put your finger on EXACTLY why we like to beat Spurrier. UGA got lucky--again! But as you say, the Vols do play them close most of the time and we will get ours sooner or later. As for basketball, UT will probably be one of only a handful of programs in the country that will have BOTH basketball teams in the top 10 by the end of the season. Mark my words!

Actually, you of course were the one who said the Vols and Dawgs often play close these days. You seemed to be replying to a non-Vol troll and maybe even misunderstood what he said. If you will recall, I gave UGA all props on an earlier game-related thread for winning a close game under adverse conditions, so don't make me regret trying to be polite to what I took as a well-meaning visitor.
