Four-star juco WR Pearson joins Tennessee's 'family'

Lavon Pearson admittedly liked what he had heard about Tennessee even before he arrived on campus Friday to begin his first official visit, and he was excited about the idea of playing closer to his native Virginia.

It didn’t take him long to decide he wanted to play for the Vols.

The four-star sophomore wide receiver from Feather River College in Quincy, Calif., committed to Tennessee on Sunday near the end of his weekend stay in Knoxville, giving the Vols their 27th known commitment for the 2014 class and their third in less than two weeks.

We will always find room for players of that caliber. I find it hard to believe they would want to go anywhere else.

I'm not sure how reliable the source is, but I believe it to be pretty reliable. And the source says that the twins will be wearing UT orange. And as someone else mentioned, we'll find a way to make room for them.

Hoping that what I've been told comes to fruition.
