Tennessee is a 28-point underdog against Alabama on Saturday, so the chances of an upset against the No. 1 Crimson Tide might be slim.

But what about the rest of the season? Can the Vols finish 4-1? Are two or three wins more realistic? Could UT slip out of bowl contention with a 1-4 or 0-5 finish?

News Sentinel beat writer Evan Woodbery crunched some numbers and determined the Vols have about an 80-percent chance of making a bowl game. See how he arrived at his conclusions on his blog and then vote for yourself in our poll.

Is it just me or does Dave Hart look like Alice, the Brady's housekeeper in the photo with Coach Jones?

My guess is we beat KY and Vandy, lose ugly at Bama, lose close games to Auburn and Missouri. Would love to see a 3-2 finish that puts us in a decent bowl at 7-5. Anything better than 3-2 (7-5) is probably a dream; worse than 2-3 (6-6) definitely a nightmare after S.C win.

Just think how we'd be feeling if we had finished the job vs. Georgia. And think how many moving vans would be in Mark Richt's driveway.
