Five days before Tennessee travels to No. 10 Missouri, it’s not entirely clear if the Vols have four healthy quarterbacks or just one.

Don't expect an announcement as to who is starting until the team loads up to travel or just before game time. It keeps Mizzou guessing. Nothing against Worley, but I'd like to see Dobbs at the helm.

Dobbs looked like a college QB against Ala. - Worley didn't. Should be an easy coaching decision this week. Go Vols!

Watched the 2nd half again, every throw that Dobbs made except one was right on the money.. he can also run, which we need. The " Read Option " was never a true option with Worley because he is not a run threat. Butch is going to start Dobbs against Missouri, he is just going thru the verbage this week and not tip off Missouri so they have to prepare for both QB's. I was impressed with him, he gave a spark to the offense.

I like what coach Jones has done and think he will be a good, long term, coach at Tennessee. But it is very frustrating how he has handled the qb situation. Dobbs came in and looked better than Worley, plain as day. The red shirt is gone, why not name him the starter and get on with it?

Play Dobbs now to manage the game with an inexperienced O-Line next year. Worley just can't handle the pressure.

johndavid writes:

Let Dobbs run, if he were to suffer an injury he should qualify for a medical redshirt. How could you not play Dobbs? Waste a year over a half of meaningless football?

MaxVolFan writes:

Word is Dobbs is in. Worley is out a couple weeks

Worley needs to transfer and move on. Fans hate him-time to leave. Of course the fans are going to Dobbs after Sats game as well so I guess its back to Peterman.

Agree. Dobbs was named starter today. So much for the theory that Jones will keep his secret as to the starter so Misou will have to prepare for 2 Qb's.Shows how many of us don't know as much as we think we do.Please let Coach Jones run this show.

Idiot may hate Worley and that is an idiot post he made. Many of us wish Worley the best for no other reason than he gave his all.It is not his fault that he is not another Peyton Manning.

Good post. Worley deserves our thoughts and prayers for his recovery. I am w/ you to trust Coach Jones. The idiot is a good example w/ what is wrong w/ our society

Fans like you are the ones who should move on! The Vol Family does not need or want members such as you! That is Low!

I happen to be a contributor and like all true Tennessee Fans have never had anything but respect for every young man that has ever ran through the T !

Worley has worked his tail off for Tennessee and deserves the respect for his work and dedication to our program!

Worley is a Vol For Life and this is one fan that loves all the players that give their all every day for Tennessee!

Wonder if you ever sweated through 2 a days at any level?

This guy is just the self-appointed dark cloud on this board, and I must say he fulfills that low vocation very well. Not everybody who suits up for a big-time sports team can be a star, but even non-stars can be contributors. No life is ever wasted; even drips like the guy you responded to can be bad examples!
