I'm really anxious to see Russell on the floor with the LVs. They should be right in the mix for the national championship this year, and perhaps for years to come. Gonna be an exciting basketball season for both the men and the women in Big Orange Country! I can hardly wait!

Used to live in Eugene and have friends in the Eugene/Springfield area who are very excited that Mercedes chose to play at Tennessee. She is special - the kind of player that a program can build championships around. I look forward to having that Oregon connection continuing with good friends through both Mercedes Russell and Jordan Reynolds for the next four years.
