Come on Vols, do something!

No sweat over Barton at this point. I'm really looking forward to seeing how Thompson looks. If he can handle heavy minutes with energy and efficiency, the Vols will be set at a position that was a weak point last year. I have a feeling that not too far into the season, some of those prognosticators will look at the Vols and ask themselves, "How did we not see THAT coming?!?!"

Barton didn't practice today, but he did complete a stationary-bike workout on the sideline. That's more than I've seen him do since he's been hurt. He's also out of the walking boot that was on his left foot earlier in the week. He won't play tomorrow, which means Thompson will start. But if Barton practices this upcoming week, he should get one exhibition game under his belt before the season opener at Xavier. -Ben
