EUGENE, Ore. — It’s not easy for 6-foot-4, 291-pound men to fly on planes equipped for normal-sized people for six hours. It’s even worse when your knee is immobilized in a brace and you’re trying to learn to navigate with crutches.

Saulsberry was chop blocked. ABC wouldn't show the replay, but I recorded the game. Backed it up to see what happened. It's as clear as day.

To deliberately hurt a guy like that...to destroy his knee and his season...there's no excuse for that. It was a cheap and dirty play.

Oregon was already up a couple of touchdowns when it happened. That Oregon kid should be made to answer. Too bad it'll probably never happen.

I wonder if Jones will say anything about it.

Johnathon Johnson was a surprise to me. Pig Howard was on the sidelines during Wednesday's practice, although it wasn't clear then (or now) what exactly is his injury.

Butch Jones doesn't always comment on in-season injuries, especially when he believes it might given an advantage to the opponent.

It appears Johnson's injury is more serious, as he didn't dress out and was wearing a boot on his foot. Howard went through warmups and might have been close to playing.

I didn't see how he got hurt, but I will watch it again when I get home.
