The group announced on Wednesday will be honored in Atlanta before the SEC Championship Game on Dec. 6 and 7.
Johnson played in 23 games for the Vols before his career ended due to injury. He opened the 2006 season with six tackles in a game against California but suffered a career-ending shoulder injury in Week 2 against Air Force.
He has worked with young people in Knoxville and his hometown of Atlanta and has also spoken to UT's football team.
