TUSCALOOSA, Alabama — The chatter about Nick Saban and a possible opening at the University of Texas came to a head Thursday evening at his weekly radio show.

Saban's agent, Jimmy Sexton, was reportedly contacted by a regent and former regent from the University of Texas. The phone conversation, according to the Associated Press, occurred two days after Alabama beat Notre Dame in the BCS National Championship Game. "let me say this again, I'm not going to Alabama" words Saban said while at Miami....lol When I read the article about him "stepping over" one of his players who was having a seizure on the practice field and never broke stride...... tells me everything I need to know about this guy

When I first heard about this, my first reaction was "Wait...what? No WAY!" Then I thought about him leaving LSU and Miami, and I was like, "Well, maybe WAY!" Tony and Michael were saying on PTI yesterday that Bama could and would match any offer Texas or anybody else made, but after all it is hard to keep a ball rolling indefinitely as big as the one he has forged at Bama, and maybe he WOULD like a different situation after such a run. That was one of the things that Spurrier cited when leaving Florida.
