I think the Lady Vol's are playing their best basketball of the season right now and if I were Holly I would not change anything as far as who she has starting. Simmons is playing the best basketball of her career, (ever since she did not start one game a while back), Carter has added more defense and a stabilizing effect to the team, Burdick is coming on strong playing the best ball of her career, Graves is coming back strong and Izzy has been great all year when she is in the game. If only the coaching staff could get Izzy to play some great defense "without fouling" and seal up some team defensive leaks, who knows what this team could accomplish. I still think Ariel is one of the better guards in the country but I guess I am old fashion in that if it is working don't mess with it.

I'm sure every opposing coach has been advising their forwards/centers to draw the Lady Vol 'bigs' out of the lane, and their guards to drive past our overguarding defense for uncontested layups. If the lady Vols play the same defense, 'guarding the ball' as was said in a previous article, like they did in the second half of the Arkansas game, we may start seeing how good this team can really be. The game today should not be a real test, but it will give them experience is playing man defense in a different manner...and with better results.. than they are accustomed.
