Can't trust this team. They should have had comfortable games against UTEP, NC State and Texas A&M too and they lost all 3, 2 at home. No trust until they make the dance.

Never left the bandwagon, but this team can't be trusted. I hope Mcrae and Maymon get to play in another NCAA tournament, but I expect another inexplicable flameout if they do. If they are an 11 or 12 seed, it will be bad. If they can work their way into an 8/9 game, then they may get to round two before getting hammered by a 1. You just never know which team will show.

IMHO, the Vols would be in great shape as an 11 or 12 seed. There have been more upsets in the 5-12 matchups than any others. I also strongly disagree that the Vols would necessarily just fold before a higher-ranked team. When they have their head in the game, avoid the silly fouls, take care of the ball, and make shots, they can beat anybody in the country.

I don't blame people for being skeptical. I myself have said that, IMHO, Martin needs to get to the Dance this year to be sure to keep his job. I wondered why it took so long to come up with a workable game plan for this team. It is certainly no guarantee that they will make it, but I really do think there is qualitative and quantitative improvement in every phase of their game. I don't think they will allow themselves to get steamrolled the way they did in G'ville last week. But, as you say, you just never know.

Hmmmm…..1-3-1 zone…..a la RAY MEARS!! Bravo to Coach Martin for making this move because this team can't play man-to-man very well.

Point guard has been this seasons weak point until the last two games. Good to see that freshman Thompson is growing into a nice SEC point.

Mike, you can scold an idiot all you want but when all is said and done, they'll still be an idiot. If we go undefeated and win the National Championship they'll be unhappy that the winning margin was big enough.

Experienced coaches tend to wear this coach and his joke of a staff out. Just wait til next year when there is no talent to pad the win total. It will be a losing season
