All the coaches deserve a sincere thank you for their efforts on the recruiting trail, especially Coach Thigpen. I hope they are justly rewarded for their hard work.

Of all the assistants Thigpen needs a raise. Otherwiae we will lose him next year. Being named the number one recruiter in the country should at least get him 25000 more dollars. He is better than Jancek and Bajakian combined. Who did those 2 close the deal on????

Don't short-change Coach Thigpen. He ranked #1 as the national assistant coach recruiter. Promote and pay him NOW. Fulmer and Dickey got stingy with Rodney Gardner after he had recruited the 1998 NC team for UT and Gardner went to UGA. UT slid slowly downhill thereafter. It looks like Coach Jones and Coach Thigpin may be turning the downward trend around. Jones is already well-paid. Thigpen must have been be the reason that Auburn continued to recruit in the top 10 for the past three years even though Chezik was running the team into the ground. And Thigpen was recruiter of the year in 2007 when he was at North Carolina. Get with the program Hart.

IF YOU WANT THE BEST PERSONNEL IN ANY BUSINESS YOU GOT TO PAY FOR THEM ACCORDINGLY OR THEY WILL BE WITH SOMEONE ELSE IN A BLINK OF THE EYE.
I EXPERIENCED THAT FROM WITHIN MY OWN CAREER AS SENIOR VP OF OPERATIONS IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY.

It is pretty much a no-brainer that Thigpen needs to be paid. He proved his worth on the recruiting trail this year. I'm sure Butch is going to do the right thing and make sure his ace recruiter is properly compensated.
