With a strong performance tonight, the Vols could position themselves as one of the main "sorters" in the league this year. The boost it would give to team morale is incalculable. Another failure to rise to a prime-time occasion could well brand them as "just not good enough" for the Dance again this year, and flames will arise around Martin's seat. I am decidedly hoping they will step up to the moment. True contenders win games like this one tonight.
