This game made it clear that Martin has to go. There were over 18,000 fans there tonight that saw him get outcoached yet again.

We have tons of talent that is being wasted. We only scored 24 the entire 2nd half & they scored 39. You can't let a visiting team shoot 53% from the field in a half & expect to win.

We had 3 timeouts when A&M hit the game winner. No one on the bench bothered to call one to set up a play to get someone open to shoot. That is inexcusable.

Hey Dave Hart it is time to Reach out to Bruce Pearl don't let him get away to another Sec school. He can coach he won with less talent can you imagine if he had this team what our record could be.

Please spare us Bruce Pearl. Dont wanna listen to his mouth. However, unfortunately Martin is way past his his time. Why is he even still here? I quit watching them 2 years ago unfortunately. It is depressing to watch most of the time.

Antonio Barton said it best in the newspaper today. There was nothing set up and I didn't know even know how much time was left. David Hart, The clock is ticking for all the UT Fans. Step Up . Mr. Martin, Hard to call him coach based on the last three years, must go.......

The Vols really needed that one. Maybe Martin could or should have done something to pep up the team when it became apparent that the team was losing its edge. It is little more than nostalgia for the bigger-than-life Pearl to think that he would necessarily have done better with this team. He too had teams that were perceived to have underachieved. It is fair to say that he has done more overall in terms of wins and losses and he was rarely dull. I have said before that if things work out in a more-or-less legal and dignified way, I would accept Pearl IF Martin is dismissed after the season.

It is still up to Martin and the team to determine whether they are willing and able to fulfill their best destiny or not. It's not over yet and there is no chance that Martin is going anywhere before the season is over.

IMHO, it would be a good thing for UT if Martin is successful. No more buyouts, no more ticklish and potentially embarrassing coaching searches, no more upheaval in the fan base--most of these can follow if the team proves itself on the court. Support them or not as the spirit moves you.
