A needed win.

Great win, great coaching, active offense and intense D. A fun game to watch beating a quality SEC team.
Thompson played really well as a starter. Barton played well off the bench. Stokes and Maymon were beasts in the paint. Good substitutions for an important win.

KUDOS to the Vols ! I have been critical of the coaches and the team, but they came out with energy and I felt for the first time they very rapidly moved the ball for open shots in the first half. If they do this consistently , they will compete in the SEC . Also ,great job on defense.

Winning this game raised the chances of UT making the big show back to slim..and that is better than the alternative...sure would be nice to see some more like this...

This is the kind of game that makes everybody wonder, "Where have THESE guys been all year?" It remains for them to prove whether the team we saw at Florida or the one we saw last night was the "real" 2013-4 Vol team.

Great game but it just continues the on and off, hot and cold play of this team. Road game coming up, we'll see how they respond.

At the beginning of the season I had this game circled. Figured with Maymon back on the court, the team would be steadier and put a whuppin' on Henderson. Sad part is, while I watched the game, it only pizzed me off...effort like this would have thrashed KY and made FL a game late. Not to mention the highest RPI prizes of the year at Wichita, Xavier and NC State.

Effort like this every. single. game. and they're a top 5 two loss team. wtf.....

Good win. But we have seen this twice already this season. Big blow out win against a strong UVA team. Then drop off. Big road win against a good LSU team. Lose to aTm at home - which just got beat by nearly 28 by winless in SEC play, USCe. So here they are again with two really good opportunities for SEC road wins to improve their record and standing. Which team will show up?

These are the guys that torched UVA and beat a good LSU team on the road. They can do this. They just can't seem to do it consistently.

I thought we we sloppy. Too many TO's and we almost let H beat us by himself. He was several points above his avg despite not scoring until late in the first half ( due to injury)
WHY didn't we do something different. We played him like he was any other guard in conference. No help from guy guarding screener. How can Richardson not stay any closer? I know he hit a couple of tough shots but it was just like us giving the ARK. SHOOTER 3 wide open looks ( 3-3 ) He got 15 ft away without the help of a screen. It wAS a rerun of the last 2 games against Henderson and it almost got us beat despite hot shooting and playing at home.

Almost got us beat? If I can remember, he put Jordan on him and he went 1 of 7 the rest of the way. The lead was stretched out to 18 points towards the end so I did not see a almost getting beat.
