As someone said on another thread recently what we're seeing in RTL is "individual defensive effort" as opposed to well coordinated "team defense". Big difference.

I watched Tyndall's Morehead State team in the OVC for 5 years. Rest assured, we're going to see some good team defense.

Individual defensive effort is correct..some players play strong defense while others mostly go thru the motions..but you can tell the talent is there to play good defense in all the new guys..Willie Carmichael works hard all over the court..

Oh yeah, first year NCAA champions. UT players will only see this side of 100-plus scoring against some of it's slightly better than high school opponents, you know, like most of the lady Vals opponents.
