Govols247: Comcast, SEC Network nearing agreement

Comcast and the SEC Network are finalizing details of an agreement that would allow the cable giant to carry the new network when it launches August 14, Clay Travis of Outkick the Coverage reported Monday. Dish Network, AT&T Uverse and Google Chrome - in limited cities - have agreements in place to carry the SEC Network.

DirecTV and Time Warner Cable currently don't have a deal done with the SEC Network. However, AT&T is in the process of purchasing DirecTV and Comcast is trying to acquire Time Warner.
