Yes, James Franklin spoke to the alleged victim of a rape involving four Vanderbilt football players just days after the incident last summer.

Was Franklin trying to influence the woman in any way? Did the call interfere with the investigation? Was the contact inappropriate?

According to the lead prosecutor in the case, the answers to those questions are no, no and no.
