To you it sounds fishy and to me it sounds like a Michelle Marciniak possibility. I can only hope !!!!!

If you have nothing better to do with you time than post negative comments like this, then you must live a really pathetic existence.

This kid's mother stayed at Tennessee long enough to get a degree. I wouldn't necessarily classify her as a spoiled brat but as an elite athlete who has worked hard to get to the point she has. She has a very bright future and I personally hope she has one wearing Tennessee orange.

Are you a troll or what? I don't get that from DD at all. I think a bunch of kids all decided to go to UNC as a group and it just wasn't what she had hoped. The Marciniac case is a great example. Made a mistake, came to UT and led the team to a Nattie. Or two? VFL.
Where ever she goes, except UConn I'm going to wish her well. She is, after all a UT legacy.

Come to TN and be a Vol for Life, Diamond! You can sparkle and help lead us to another NC. Your talents are welcome here!

What seems "fishy" to you? She has been granted an unconditional release from UNC. UT was a finalist in her original recruitment. Why wouldn't she give them another visit? The LVs are already poised to make a strong run at the national championship next year, and even the year after that if she has to sit out this year. Why wouldn't she welcome a chance to be part of that? Why would UT not want her?

excellent prospect, you never know the motives, thousands of young folks transfer schools every year, and we think it is crazy if they are athlete
tremendous talent, family familiar with UT, if she thinks she will be happier at UT and fit in, I have nothing to say but, great and welcome...

LV Fans! A "diamond" is priceless! I live in the Triangle area of NC and have seen this girl many times! She is a great, great player and we NEED her IMO! She can shoot and score without difficulty. I hope her Mom helps sway her to Knoxville. She would be one of the best to ever wear the Orange! Former CPS, make a call to her and every coach of the LVS should not sleep a wink until she is in the fold so to speak! She would be a major boon to our LVS! Count on it; her skills are Top-Notch! Diamond, please come to Knoxville! You are truly wanted and a great talent.

This young lady is far from a head case, and she would represent UT very well.

MaxVolFan writes:

We need a leader to play without any game pressure and an ability to score with confidence. Its been years since weve had a player like Holdclaw or Catch and Parker who knew they could not be guarded. Stricken could have been but was too quiet and laid back even in games, and recently Simmons who was a excellent shooter but didnt lead or was demanding of her teammates even as a senior. This year I think the coaches has to take that pressure off the players to make the final four and just play to beat every team they face. The social media outlets are really pushing for Diamond and Tea Cooper to come to rockytop.
Get Diamond and get Terrance Gibson and UT will go crazy!

What a nonsensical comment. So all of the girls who have played at TN and their parents are head cases and the girls are also spoiled brats.

Dum-de-dum!

Good move KNS staff. True Lady Vol fans will welcome any player who would wanna play for UT.

Appears she is considering South Carolina as well? Hopefully she'll be wearing orange!
