Scenic vistas and ridgetops are on Knox Heritage's "Fragile 15" list for 2008. This 180-foot-high, 500,000-gallon water tower in South Knoxville is said to have changed Knoxville's skyline and prompted creation of a city-county task force to explore ways of possibly protecting ridgetops. |
