Harry Wilson Pipkin, 86, of Knoxville, was injured while training with the 13th Airborne Division when the lines of his parachute became entangled and he landed in a tree. He was preparing to go overseas during World War II when the injury occurred. He is visiting the grave of Audie Murphy at Arlington National Cemetery where World War II veterans from Knoxville visited Wednesday as part of the Knoxville HonorAir trip to the National World War II Memorial. Murphy was the highest decorated soldier in World War II with 33 medals including the Medal of Honor.
