Two things strike me about the picture of Oku catching a pass. One, he doesn't have his mouthpiece in, it is in his mask. Isn't that a penalty in a game? Two, where are his eyes? He obviously has just touched the ball and is looking at where he is going to run. Isn't he supposed to look the ball into his hands until he has it secured?

It's the first day of practice, so I wouldn't beat him up. This kid has Reggie Bush written all over him. Speed. Agility. The ability to catch the ball out of the back field. I'm excited to see how kiffin utilizes his unique talents over the next few years
