Please, KNS, teach whomever wrote the headline of the pics as "alumnae" that the word is plural for FEMALE graduates. The correct term is alumni. Sheesh.

"Alumnae" is a feminine plural noun. The feminine singular is "alumna." The masculine singular is "alumnus," and its plural form is "alumni". When I saw the headline, I thought maybe they had a bunch of former co-eds playing flag football at halftime. BTW: My foreign language at UT was German and not Latin.
