I think the home page is quite a bit too large. Too much being stuck on one page. I don't think you need every sport category shown on the front page. It's cumbersome. I thought the previous design was great.

I look at a very limited area of this site and NONE are as easy to find as before. EACH now is a hunt and is not clear you are there yet and I agree with others...the background is dark.
IT is an insult to readers to change things and call it better JUST for the sake of looking as though you are doing something.
OTHER than CONTENT there was NOTHING wrong with the old site and many things wrong with this.
Wouldn't it have been smarter and more user friendly to have ASKED the users what changes would they like and use that as a poll to make changes instead of your 5 questions above??? R*
