JP's shot block was good, but there was no way that show was even going to be close to going in.
Beating Kansas was the Highlight of the year considering what was going on at the time.

I agree Kansas win was one of the highlights but the JP block was at a MUCH higher stage in the season and it assured everyone that Turner's shot had no chance of going in.

KS win was great....so was the KY win....and the
VOLS making it to the Elite Eight for the first time ever wasn't too shabby either!

think about what skylers shot meant...it was beating the number 1 team after losing your "best" player and 3 other scholarship players. It put us back on the track to even get to the tournament. Sure skyler can't guard a legless cow without getting a handcheck foul or three but, man, that shot....

Oh it was absolutely a "feel good" moment without a doubt!! My point was that the Prince play helped put us somewhere we had NEVER been before..we had beaten #1s before and beaten UK before..and by no means am I trying to lessen those accomplishments or games this year at all. But we had NEVER been to the Elite 8 and that play sealed the deal to get us there!

gotta give it to the freshman....lets hope its not his best moment while in knoxville

Exactly. That shot may have saved the season for the Vols.

Lose to Kansas and it might have been a different season. That win opened some eyes on and off the team. Tyler Smith sure F'd himself over by being a dumb bunny!
