Occasionally talk about related stories of Vol players and coaches of the past as well as other SEC programs that may have an impact on our Vols. This is a "Go Vols Xtra" site. Leave the other articles for the newspaper and always leave the Liar surfer dude out of all of them.

I'm over the UNC/Duke/NC State area and it would takes a years worth of negative articles from the sports writers over here (and believe me, plenty could be written about NC State and their idiot administration) to equal one weeks from the Knoxville beat. I'm just amazed at all the stuff they can write about and it is just UT sucks UT sucks all the time. You don't have to be rah-rah types to write positive articles. I seriously don't understand why I can find out more about bama, the gators, and X on this site than I can about students currently attending the University of Tennessee who happen to play sports.
The only thing ever posted here positive about the Vols seems to be linked from other papers. Can you guys please get a clue?

I'm tired of the Lane Kiffin Articles. I've stopped coming to the site soley because of overkill on Kiffin. I fully understand that this is a dead period for sports in our area because football is king in the South. Add that to the fact that Kiffin is a hot topic that drives hits on the site, and you get more overkill on Kiffin. However, I personally don't see a reason to continue to give this guy the press he craves. I suggest leaving that up to bill plaschke and the LA Times: Kiffin won't make it 4 years: think about Spurrier and his Successor, Ron Zook. I think most of the fan base has moved on and we're just ready for spring football. To be frank about it, I really don't care what happens in the Pac-10, the ACC, Big East, Big 10 or any other conference. The SEC has dominated college football since the beginning of the BCS and we'll continue to dominate. I am only concerned with the road we have to take to get to the national championship. Nothing else matters.
