It is time for all student athletes to be returned to the dorm rooms with bed checks and curfews.
U.T. is not the only school to have their student athletes getting into trouble. However, we can become the leader in doing what is right for the students, the school and our fans, both young and old, by making sure that we minimize their opportunity to get into mischief.
Sound old fashioned? May be. But is was proven in the past to work. And like spankings, it may be time to dust off some of the old and make it new once again.

I'll stand up and say that I don't think it's fair to throw his life away because they found him with weed and guns. I would feel that it would be just to throw his life away if he commited a violent crime.

If I remember correctly, Tyler is 23 years old. 5 years past the age of adulthood. All you softies that want to give him a pass, need to grow up too.

We pay these athletes via scholarships to play and represent the University. If they can't do that, then they need to be fired. That's life in the "real world".
