I thank Fulmer for what he did in the past for Tennessee...but that's just it...THE PAST. Hamilton is a good person and has done a good job. Today's coaches and players have a sense of entitlement that is fast ruining the game. Hamilton is a man of God and I pray for him as he tries to find a good fit for Tennessee...and I would hope true Tennessee fans would as well.

I have a feeling this could be a big ole mess like when Johnny Majors went back to Pitt. He shouldn't have left Pitt, but he heard the call from the alumni. So we had some good times, and he had some great and even legendary teams. But he was faltering, and Vols were hungry for wins. Titles. Some wheeling and dealing occurred, and Johnny was shoved aside for Fulmer.

Fulmer delivered, and we all thrilled over winning the first BCS title.

But while we got used to being a high level program with lots of wins, slowly Fulmer's grip loosened and the program wasn't winning consistently. Gotta dump him, he's horse and buggy, we need youth.

Well, we saw some youth - selfish, immature, and lacking integrity. Some were blinded by Monte being part of package.

Makes you wonder if maybe the bad decisions are coming from more than just Hamilton. Maybe some loyal and generous boosters need to back off and let professionals decide who is best for the program.

Are you kidding me--Fulmer as AD? How much cronynism would we have to put up with then. The football program would die a slow death.

Hire an expereinced professional who understands the world of big time sports management. Ut has a tremendous MBA program and has several alumni working in professional sports front offices who would love to steer the multi-million dollar athletic department ship for their alma mater. Mr. Hamilton is an academic administrator, not the maangement executive type required to manage a multi-million dollar business. How he has handled this week is reason enough to stop this madness and upgrade to the management level personnel that the job requires. I am tired of the University throwing away our money on unqualified individuals who would never survive at comprable pay level brackets in the private sector.

I am a man of God as well but that doesn't mean I can perform best at any job on that fact alone, hamilton is running us into the ground bad decision after bad decision. I pray for his termination.

I'll vote for him for Sunday School teacher - - just not as AD.
