sorry but.... a loss to start the season against lowly AP would be ultimate humiliation and... devastating. However, that will never happen and the big Orange will roll to 8 and 4 with a couple of nice surprises. GBO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dang I missed it with Kentucky. I'd accept about any loss but bluecatz!!

A lost to Western Kentucky would be awful. But it's at the start of the season. If Tennessee has 5 wins when they play Kentucky and lose?

Worst loss, would be South Alabama. We should be improved by then, even if beat up playing Oregon/Florida back to back, and possibly looking forward to Georgia. But it should be a game we will win.

Now if they asked what would be the worst loss for me. It would be Vanderbilt. They didn't win against any ranked team last year. Plus they loss most of the offense, except Matthews.

You heard it here first, Joey Jones will bring an over achieving USA team to NeyBoob and surprise Tennessee. This is a trap game. The Jags may not win but it will be like the UAB game a few years ago. WKU wins this game and it won't be close.

Can't take back-to-back losses to Vanderbilt. No way.

I agree W Ky is a trap game..but I think Jones will have the Vols ready to play and will win..why do I think this..Jones knows better than anyone how important this game is for UT and he knows Petrino would love to stick it to UT for passing over him..we'll see..

Losing to Kentucky will always to me be the worse. I don't care about Petrino and what he wants to do to us. If that's the case. I KNOW Kentucky will be gunning for UT. But again we shouldn't lose any of these games. How is a loss to any game on this poll good? That may be the point to the poll question. Maybe. Frankly I'd feel just as bad losing to Alabama. But unlike so many posted last year a close loss is not always just another loss. Some losses show improvement. Losing to Ga. last year was a killer because it didn't show any improvement on the defensive side. But really we played as good as Georgia did(almost).

I don't see any point to looking back really. It's over. Worst season ever. Gone. kaput. But it was a very excitng season to watch just the offenses in the league...including ours.

Petrino seems to be a great coach on the field. The motorcycle thing? None of my business. Just a bad choice that anyone of us could have fallen to. Stupid really like Pearl's lie. Media loved it.

Well...you DO have a great imagination. Good luck with that.

I'll never forget being there watching UTC lose at Vandy 21-17 some years back. One of Joey Morrison's good UTC teams. It dissallusioned me on the difference between Mid majors and majors. Although UTC one of those years ('78) went to a major bowl and won. But my point is that a good team is a good team. We're not a good team unless we win all of these games including Petrino's W. Kent. team. But upsets happen sometimes.(Memphis, Appy St.against Mich.) If somehow WKent beats UT? Well that still would be a huge upset. But so would any of thee teams. Including Vandy.
