About Erin Chapin

Biography

Erin Chapin first came to the News Sentinel in December of 2003 as a member of the Circulation department. After a year and a half, she joined the elite staff of online producers at KnoxNews.com whose jobs entail keeping the site updated with the latest breaking news, shooting and editing video and producing award-winning multimedia.

Erin is an army brat who lived in five different states before the age of six, but has called Knoxville home since 1979. She attributes her tough, red-headed sass to her upbringing in South Knoxville.

"That's just how us Southies roll."
