A native of North Carolina and a graduate of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, Jim as been in the newspaper business since 1976. Prior to coming to the News Sentinel in 1997, Jim’s career included stints at a number of daily newspapers - - Durham NC, Columbus GA, Fort Wayne IN, Worcester MA, Milwaukee WI, and Nashville TN.
