Gator4life,

Appreciate the human element. “News” is a human element; an unfortunate life consequence is the media will use any faction of life to stimulate debate and revenue; remember good news does not promote. The sports media in the “ideal” world reports only sports. KNS is a premier illustration of the real world of sports media; use ANYTHING for their capitalistic efforts; sad but true……GO Vols.

Drugs cross any periphery; Gender, religion, ethnicity, or academic preference; distressing for the “indulged” and their “family”; instead of myopic obtuse commentary as forementioned. I an 1986 Tennessee graduate, I offer my sympathy and prayers ot the Reaves family.

On Calkins: Missing subpoena latest incident to plague Fulmer

These “spit nits” denoted as sports writing is the inane ploy of the noted prized “reporter” to disseminate, for profit, to the limited public; One only need to read title and it’s author.

Nothing more needs to be said;

I am saddened the Scripps stock price dropped 7.5% to $8.51 and the stock did not benefit these scribed maunderings of the “prized” one.

Oh, well, maybe, one of “non-embellished” can report something with merit for the fans.

Go….Vols.

On Four Vols named to first-team preseason All-SEC by league coaches

Every year talk radio, the papers, the internet blogs are filled with the asininity of individuals, such as but not limited to; “sport”writers, NBA-BBBO- Never been athletic but by blog only”, “the six pack, arm chair coach,” and just plain stupid. They equip their defense with derisory, baseless, veracious “facts” conjured in their consciousness of inanity.

The fanatic, whether, inane or astute is granted the freedom of speech by voice or pen in this great nation of ours.

As any can see by some of these postings, the diminutive inane mind cannot remain silent; a silence allowing them some dignity but nay, they prefer spew their rhetoric. The masses weigh, measure, and find these wanting. For on the field of any conflict, the properly equipped, trained and properly motivated prevail.

For those who oppose the Vols, whether the seasonal Benedict Arnold or adversary, it is basic.

You are either a Vol or you are not a Vol. The rest is B.S. Basically Sh…dung.

I AM …..A VOLUNTEER; GO VOLS

Face it, college is not athletics or academics; it is a business; and that is okay. A business that teaches and plays sports but a business none the less. The marketing "face of business" gets the financial backing. UT is a great institution but do not live under the premise it is a school "only" this coming from a proud graduate of the UT Engineering Department, 1986. Go Vols.
