Im not a huge Fulmer fan but I do respect the job he has done here. Can anyone name me which team in the past ten years has made the SEC championship game the most in the SEC.The answer is Tennessee and LSU.We are ahead of Florida,Georgia and the rest of the SEC.True he has not won an SEC championship since 98 but only one of the three times since that game have we lost a game we should have won(2001).Auburn was undefeated in 2004 and probably should have been the national champions while LSU won the National championship last yr.In both games i thought we played better then i thought we would and could have won last yr.Besides maybe Florida LSU and maybe Auburn what other team would we rather trade places with

I read the blog that you posted but how many seasons did it take Calapari to get Memphis into the sweet sixteen.I think pearl has us well above Memphis pace and will probably be raising a banner before him too.The only one that counts is the one that wins the championship bc Memphis was just a higher rated loser then us last yr.

Isnt it a bad thing when another coach from your same conference comes out in support of your coach.Everyone in the conference supported Wade and Buzz also.

I totally agree with the coach---I am sorry that you feel the need to baby these players. He is making a point to state that he will not accept their standard of play and they had better get with it.I agree that their are alot of good talent in Tennessee and he needs to keep it home where Delmonico failed to do so.He did not mean he would not recruit out of state talent.

On Vols get an earful from coaches after latest loss

I will have to say that I have never been so embarrassed then I have been by my fellow Vol fans.A large number of our fans have to be the biggest babies in the world.ESPN hates us,the refs hate us,noone in the country respects us,and to make matters worse people cry like crazy bc a newspaper writer might say harsh things about our coach or any of our programs.I think alot of the VolNation needs to grow some Big Orange Balls.

On Adams: Vols have talent to make up for personnel losses

We beat Georgia head to head, won the SEC East and because of messed up BCS rules they get to go to a BCS game and our fans talk like they had a better season then us.This logic is completely messed up.

I think some of the negative people are nuts.Raleigh is selling out to try and win the games that matter(SEC). I really like the recruits he has been signing and I feel we have a very bright future.Trust me Delmonico lost plenty of these midweek games and with alot more talent.

On Raleigh's reunion not a happy one

itsme---Calapari went to three NITS and didnt make a sweet 16 during his first 5 seasons at Memphis. Pearl has been to two sweet 16 in his first three seasons. He is well ahead of Calapari so far!!

DSaVol----True we have not won the SEC championship since 98 but we have played for the SEC championship as much as anyone in the entire SEC has.One year we were upset by LSU but the other two years we lost to an undefeated Auburn team that should have played for the National Championship and the National Champions that humiliated Ohio State in the National Championship.

I would love to win it all every year but so would every other team in the NCAA. I think it was a hell of an accomplishment what our team did last year with the way the level of competition has grown in the SEC,

itsme why wont you answer me when I ask you about Calapari's coaching record for his first five years versus what Pearl has accomplished.Calapari had a big head start and Pearl is already on his heels and has him scared!!!
