Passing alone is (and should be) a risk. But rules in place make passing less risky. If you don't want a player to be defenseless then don't run the risky play.

He inherited Johnny Majors hard work and yes he improved on it but UT was in great shape when Fulmer took over for for Majors, unlike now. I like and respect coach Fulmer and hindsite being 20/20 I'd say we made a mistake in firing him, however his time has passed and its time to move on.

I guess you are the same person who cries that Cutcliff is the reason for Fulmer's success.
Well guess what? Fulmer at OC under majors turned this whole program around starting with back to back SEC Championships in the early 90's.
Fulmer just knows football.
