Urban Meyer commented that he is really, really upset that anyone would shoot one of his choir boys.
"Matt Patchan was playing in a sandbox with a homeless four-year-old when a rival fan, maybe even a Tennessee or FSU player, came up and shot my guy for no reason. I won't have that. That's not cool."
Asked if any discipline would await Patchan, Meyer snapped, "I'm the judge and jury with anybody that I recruit. He won't miss any playing time, but you can bet he'll think again before getting in any shenanigans. We don't do that at Florida."
John Adams, called for his comment on Florida's situation, chastised this reporter for even bothering. "I'm on Alabama radio in five minutes to call for Phillip Fulmer's head, and you want to bother me about Florida? I can only handle one treachery at a time."
