TurboFan,
That maybe true. But in coachng circles 2 years is a life time. Coaches that were "available" are no longer and coaches that were not available are now or will be at the end of the season. Coaches play musical chairs every season. I'm not behind the times I'm trying to get ahead of the curve!
So what happened to Ashley? Must have been really potty mouth.

I'll ask this question again.
If not Fulmer; then who would you have at Tenn for Head Coach?
I noticed that none of those who are always negative on here has answered this question.
I asked this question several hours ago (at 2:03PM).

I'm not real happy with the way the VOLS have played the last dew years either. But I do know this everytime the Vols are on TV (national or regional)the announcers at some point during the game comment that Tennessee is always a great measuring stick by which other teams test themselves. If the other team happens to beat the VOLS; then they must be a pretty good team. Usually the VOLS consistently win 8, 9,10 games a season. 90% of the D 1 teams who love to have that!!!!!! But here at Tenn we hold all of our teams to a higher standard. We expect, at least, conference championships every 2 or 3 years.
Hey Workin' and others like you I ask Fulmer gets fired who do you replace him with? The only one I can think of is the Boise St. head coach; he's had a couple of good years lately.

I have never really understood why UT let Delmonico go. Would someone explain it to me?

If Nikki leaves we need to get someone who is a recruiter. X's and O's are a strong point for Nikki but don't forget her recruiting ability.
I wish her luck wherever she goes and I hope to see her back on the UT bench in the future.
Maybe we could get Al Brown back. But I don't know about his recruiting ability. I do know that he is a fantastic X's and O's guy.

I love the VOLS football, Basketball (Men's and Women's) and I grew up in K-town (Farragut area)
but last night . . . Maybe WE (UT) should have hired Pitino when we hired Buzz Peterson. How could anyone hire Buzz over Pitino? Don't get me wrong I know BP has done an excellent job but had we hired Pitino when he left the NBA we would be in a much better position now. Does anyone now why we did not hire him?
Bruce I hope you stay you can build the program and make UT a national Men's BB power. Thanks for the great season!!!!!!

I know everyone will think that I'm crazy but I believe Arkansas will take care of business and beat North Carolina. If everything falls into place we could have an all SEC Final in the East. I would love it if all Carolina could see was the Orange and Red of two SEC teams in their home state.
Yes, we should have beaten Arkansas but right now they may become our "best friends" and then it will be play back time - - when it really counts!!
We know how to beat Arkansas and we can again. But we must take it one game at a time and play our defense and play our game. We are capable of winning this thing. As Pat Summit said before her ten loss team won the National Championship - - we don't have to be the best team in the country - - just the best team for the nest six games!! Kick some A$$; Vols and let's build a tradition like N.C., UCLA, Duke, and KY so we will "get the breaks" during the selection in the future.

Did you notice that the Ladies played together more when Parker was on the bench. They extended the gap!! The Ladies won but too many times I saw Organge jerseys standing around waiting on something to happen. They just don't seem to be hungry.
