Felton being on the hot-seat is a ridiculous notion if any of the administrators at UGA are considering it. They can't have it both ways. He kicks off two of the highest scoring players and has endured injuries up and down his roster this year. How anyone would expect much better from this Georgia squad this year is a mystifying prospect at best. There's much more to a record than wins/losses.
Folks need to learn to give coaches time to build programs and Felton has been doing all the right things with regards to academics and disciplinary measures? This ain't an add-water and stir kind of thing.

The implications percolate in the idle minds of those who speculate it was anything more than what it was.
In other words, what a waste of copy space to bring attention to fluff controversy rather than the historic significance and substance that was this game.

Isn't recruiting just a bunch of spin to begin with? So what good does it do to obligate a coach to explain consequences in recruiting that can hardly even be imagined much less speculated?
These kids have a will of their own...and Fulmer is gonna strike out with people if Tennessee doesn't get everyone it wants?
The whole "wanting" of these kids based on performance on the high school field and it's wildly oscillating variables of performance and other "quantitative" measures, I would say, needs to be tempered a bit and expectations brought back to earth.
Another way of putting...don't let it ruin your day.

I find it interesting that they question their slide to #5 but they never questioned their rise to #4? As if the original starting point of their argument was valid?
Bottom line: The same system that stabbed them in the back is the same, woefully subjective system that elevated them to #4.
