The Vol: What made you pick Michigan State over the other three schools in their group. I know all four schools have pretty good bb teams, but I don't know the strengths of each team. If you read this, can you elaborate?

I had the same type of cancer that Chris had. It has been two years since my chemo and I am still not up to the strength and stamina which I had before the cancer. I would guess that Chris is still fighting the side effects and is also not up to full yet. A year in the Turkish league might do him good and give time for full recovery. If playing is not in his future, how about coaching?

What a stupid question. Well KNS. What would you rather call them? Maybe something like the "Vol B***hes" to strike terror into the hearts of all foes? Get a life. I agree with most of the other posters. The "Lady Vols" have become an icon. They are known by anyone serious about basketball. Just the thought of having to play the "Lady Vols" will give foes nightmares. How about the next KNS poll. Shall we change the name of the "Vols" to the "Gentlemen Vols"?

This article is not dumb at all. It has created a long string of posts which are extremely entertaining. My pick would be Pearl as he has the bb program heading up. Pat, the best coach in ladies bb, already has the program at its height. Which way Phil has the fb going is unclear to me, although it appears there has been some good recruiting. For all three sports, I say GO VOLS!

Question: The article suggests that there will be a scholarship still available after Hall receives his with Tyler expecting to go pro. Will the team actually try to recruite a player using Tyler's expected scholarship? And if they do and are successful at recruiting a player and then Tyler decides not to go pro, How do they handle the recruited player with a vapor scholarship?

It either appears Negedu has not yet signed with the Vols or Rivals info is not up to date. Does he need to sign to play or is Emanual having a problem which has not yet been addressed?
