Good luck, Erik. We all want to see you do well. You'll always be a Volunteer.

There but for the Grace of God go I. Don't know about you folks, but my youth featured several instances where this could have been me. My own recklessness and irresponsibility as a kid could have cost several lives. And I came close on several occasions.
There's a great movie about this sort of thing. Jack Nicholson and David Morse. I think it's called "The Crossing Guard."
Leonard has this cross to bear. It's his until he reaches the other side. From this article, sounds like he's doing the best he can do deal with it. My guess is we'd all deal with it differently.

Wow, what an impressive and class "adios." We wish you the best, Duke.
STAY OFF THE WEED, MAYBE????

From what you've written, John, this Maze kid doesn't sound like a Volunteer. Doesn't sound like a good fit.

So BP announces this "moments before UT’s annual basketball banquet." Probably to explain why Smith and Crews wouldn't be there.
A rebuilding year just got more interesting. To me, Smith isn't that big of a loss to the team. But Crews hurts, as I believe his best basketball is still ahead of him.
Certainly opens things up for last year's bench, the incoming recruits and our prospects. Looks like we need another 1 and 4 player.
On Crews and Ramar Smith dismissed; violation of substance abuse policy and academics were factors

Lord have mercy, it's been a very long time since I've heard an inspiring story such as this.
Mr. and Mrs. Lofton: I have three kids my own, the oldest being 10. If I do half as good a job with them as you have with Chris, I'll die a satisfied father. I'd vote to retire no. 5 right now. What a Volunteer...
May God bless you and Chris.

FINALLY, a kid from today's generation with speed who wants to run track. Once upon a time, track guys playing receiver made us known as Wide Receiver U.

"Very challenging," Jones said. "Cut's (former offensive coordinator David Cutcliffe) offense was a lot more simple. This is a lot more complex. It takes a lot more studying."
Oh, Lord -- please tell me I didn't just read that.

Montario, most of us out here know what you're capable of -- no doubt about that. Work hard, make good grades, and be ready for August camp.
WE NEED YOU. You have our best wishes and respect.

Far be it from me to second-guess BP, but everything I've read about this guy makes me uneasy. I have a hard time seeing him as a Vol and not such a hard time seeing him as trouble or a bust.
But I trust BP completely.
On Maze to visit UT today
