I am so sick and tired of being optimistic at the beginning of football season and then have to endure this kind of crap on the field. I have been a Fulmer backer, but I am done. This team needs new leadership and if Mike Hamilton is to freakin blinded to see that then his azz need's to go now. I hope that the wallet of the school is hurt by fans not showing up to watch this pathetic coached football team this year. That is the only message that might make a difference. A Vol no longer!!!!!
On It's a Hollywood disaster, but Fulmer says it's 'fixable'

My goodness, what this kid had to endure to get where he is today. Booby Bowden (spelling correct) and the ACC should be ashamed of theirselves. They never did grant this kid a release. He is where he needs to be, playing football for the University of Tennessee and taking care of his mother. Go Vols!!

It's about time that Warren was given this news. Now, all of this nonsense hanging over him is gone and he can just concentrate on playing football. Go Vols

We were not second best to Memphis this year in BBall. Last time I checked Tennessee 66 Memphis 62. On your home court even

I was just looking at Memphis' schedule for the year. Not only was their Conference schedule about as weak as you can find, but their non-conference schedule was pretty pathetic as well. Arizona wasn't a great team, didn't deserve to be in the NCAA. USC was decent, but other than OJ Mayo they have nothing. Georgetown was good but in my opinion vastly OVERATED (lol), as was Conneticut. You played 2 SEC teams this year. The weak SEC that is, that you can't respect, yet in both instances the weak SEC done pretty well. MSU pushed you to the limit in the NCAA tournament. Probably had a few Memphis fans sweating that one out. Then there is the other weak SEC team that you faced. Which did nothing more than stop the Tigers longest in the nation home court winning streak at 47, cost you an undefeated season, and showed everyone the weaknesses of the Tigers. In my opinion the WEAK SEC did pretty good against your tiggers. There are at least 7 SEC teams that could have beaten everyone of the Conference USA teams as you did. In home and home games those same seven teams probably would split with your mightier than thou tigers. I'll take a WEAK SEC over your pathetic Conference USA anytime. Just a question, when Louisville and everyone else left the conference why did Memphis not leave as well. Were they afraid of competition in the Big EAST or some other Conference that would've gladly taken them? Something to think about HUH

Respect will come our way if we earn it. Respect ain't never won a game for anybody. Vol's just go out and beat whoever you have to play and everything else will fall into place.

Don't worry about NC right now. Louisville is wearing out Oklahoma defensively right now. This may be the best pressure defense I've seen since the Vol's early in the season. Go Vols!!!!

Give the position to Ramar and let him alone, clutch basket in the end and decent ball handling I'd say

Just like everyone else here, I am not so upset about the loss. I can handle losing, if we compete, are well prepared, and execute. If you play well and lose, then the better team won, I can live with that. But what I can't live with, is looking so inept, so confused, with no clue how to adjust, to go into a shell and basically give the game away. This team was not ready to play, whether it was coaching or execution, does not matter, there is plenty of blame to go around. But it all starts at the top. If UCLA can win a game with the backups playing against us, how in the world can we compete at the SEC level. We can't. Someone on another thread compared our play to that of a Single A High School team. I take exception to that remark. I live in a town that has single A school that looks much better than what UT showed against UCLA.
On Strange: UT 0-3 in SEC by mid-October?
