Hey Mcbluegill why don't you smoke some more gator tail and go hang out with the Gaytor boys of old Florida. Last year is done and now you come to our house. We don't care about the scores from KY,SC, and Vandy. You fail to mention the impressive home wins versus Georgia and Arkansas. Anyway, our young guys weren't quite ready for the swamp last year but they aren't young anymore and they will be ready to knock Tebows Heisman butt in the dirt in the most awesome football stadium and atmosphere in the country. Tradition my friend! 6 national championships, first BCS champion 13-0, last team to go undefeated and unscored upon in a single season, smokey, the Vol Navy, the General...2nd most SEC titles,
the list goes on and on. You all may have our number the last 3 years but the tide is turning and the mighty Vols will prevail.

Andy112382...yes we do have to revisit this. I can't stand to see anything glorifying this jack a.. Why are you making excuses for this guy, is he a friend of yours? Who cares how old the victim was...what the heck does that matter? I am all for forgiving someone but this guy has never done his penance. These athletes today think that they can do anything they want and not suffer the consequences. This guy was knocked out cold, had a concussion, broken jaw, not to mention having his cheek bones shattered. If you watch the video, TD just stands over him while he appears to be lifeless. Let's be real here!

Tony probaby would have pummeled another innocent dude on the basketball court. This guy should have been arrested and locked up. Fulmer let this jerk off the hook in my opinion.

I think defensive strategies are starting to change and the importance of the true DT in college football is diminishing a bit. The reason is that with the spread offense so prevelant, you need more qualified athletes on the field to handle matchups that the offense is trying to create. This requires more athletic players in the secondary/linebacking corps. Also, DE's are turning into DT's while LB's are lining up on the line of scrimmage.

Working Like Heck,
Those numbers are misleading. Look at TN defensive statistics against the run. They want people to pass on them, their defense is built on that philosophy. One on one coverage by the corners and safeties. Chavis likes to rush his front 4 and blitz when he has a good secondary. Look for a lot of that this year. If TN can stop the run early, teams will have to pass and then we'll have them right where we want them.

This guy needs serious help. All those children, his drug problem, etc... He is going to end up in jail unless someone can get to him.

I'm with you DenMarkVol. There is no question that this kid can play ball. As far as the rep on this guy, he is a good kid. I wouldn't expect him to pull a "Major Harris" or a "Duke Crews" while at UT. However, let's don't declare him the second coming yet.
